Playtech bringing new Rubik’s Cube video slot to BuzzBingo.com

British online casino games developer Playtech has announced that it is exclusively providing the new five-reel and 25-payline Rubik’s Cube video slot to the online gaming domain at BuzzBingo.com.

The Isle of Man-based innovator used an official December 3 press release to detail that the mobile-friendly title is based on the three-dimensional combination puzzle game of the same name invented by Hungarian sculpture Erno Rubik in 1974 and challenges players to match symbols across its paylines for the chance to take home prizes worth up to 2,275 times their triggering stake.

Entertaining extras:

Playtech moreover stated that the Rubik’s Cube video slot has a return to player ratio of 96.1% and features ‘striking three-dimensional graphics and a compelling Sticky Wilds mechanic’ alongside a built-in modifier that allows aficionados to access six unique free game modes. The developer explained that the three-row innovation furthermore comes complete with a bonus that could award competitors with lucrative septuple modifiers for fully matching the same symbols appearing on a smaller reel-top cube.

Additional attraction:

James Frendo serves as Casino Director for Playtech and he used the press release to proclaim that BuzzBingo.com will be ‘building on the puzzle theme of the game’ by premiering ‘a specially-designed mini-game’ that is destined to evoke ‘the retro feel of the Rubik’s brand’ in hopes on ‘bringing it to life for a new generation of players.’

Frendo’s statement read…

“Some brands and themes are truly timeless and few more so than the iconic Rubik’s Cube. This legendary puzzle has fascinated players worldwide for over 40 years so it’s very exciting to be bringing the spirit of the cube to a brand-new slot game. Thanks to our game modifiers technology, operators can unlock six different free game modes to make this a truly innovative twist on a classic.”

Pervasive familiarity:

For his part and David Evans, Digital Operations Director for iGaming operator Buzz Group Limited, pronounced that United Kingdom-licensed BuzzBingo.com ‘captures the in-club feeling of playing among friends’ while being devoid of wagering requirements so as to allow aficionados to ‘withdraw their winnings instantly from any cash or bonus stake.’

“Millions worldwide have grown up with Rubik’s Cube, so for our exclusive launch of the new slot we really wanted to capture the spirit of what must be the most famous puzzle on the planet. Our specially-designed mini-game gives a flavor of both the classic brand and the new slot and we’re confident players will love both ways to play.”
